Ceiling fan wiring is actually pretty simple. If you want to install your new ceiling fan and feel comfortable doing some basic electric wiring, there’s not much to say. Of course, the very first step is to make sure the electric power is turned off for that section. Don’t ever mess around with live electric wires. Most fans also have a lighting fixture built in, that means you’ll have a couple extra wires in there for that function. Don’t worry, that will be the easiest part, just like wiring a light bulb.
